When you work with us at Southview Millwork, we want you to have the best possible experience. Whether you have one question or several about our custom cabinetry, millwork, and renovations, we have the answers.

What areas do you service?

We service the Halifax Regional Municipality although we have travelled across the province of Nova Scotia to provide our clients with custom millwork, carpentry and cabinets.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, cheques and cash.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, we do! Please see our Financing and Warranty page for more information.

What are the terms of your warranty?

We have a comprehensive warranty in place. Please see our Financing and Warranty page for more information.

How long does each job take?

Generally, jobs can take anywhere between 4-6 weeks. It really depends on your space and what you are having done. However, we do our absolute best not go over the agreed upon timelines. We're good but we've all seen a reno show or two. Sometimes you can expect the unexpected!

I’m not sure what I want. Can you help me figure it out?

Absolutely! Our goal is to make your vision a reality and if you’re not sure what that vision is, we’ll help you figure it out. We also offer design assistance. Heather Mansfield, BHSc, CID, is a certified designer and estimator who can guide you through all design related aspects of the project.

Where do you build your cabinets?

Everything is built in our shop in Burnside.

Who will be building my new cabinets?

We have an impressive team of craftspeople who are responsible for all millwork and carpentry. All of our shop, design and sales staff are under one roof in our Burnside location. This allows for constant communication between all members of the team.

I have my own electrician and plumber that I like to work with. Can you work with them too?

We do have trusted tradespeople that we usually work with; however, we will gladly give them a day off and work with the people you trust.

What do I need to prepare before our initial consultation?

If you have pictures of design ideas or sketches you’ve drawn up, you can bring them with you to the meeting. However, it is not mandatory.
